Write a brief around character, not tasks.
A Player vs B Player. Side by side. The difference is in how you frame the role before you ever post it.
The same role. Two different briefs.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.
You will own the operational rhythm of the business so the founder can focus on growth.
Responsibilities include: managing supplier relationships, producing weekly reports, coordinating the team calendar, supporting the MD with administrative tasks.
In the first 90 days: the pipeline is clean, suppliers are managed proactively before problems arise, and the MD has stopped doing admin. That is what success looks like.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of operations experience, strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude.
You have managed moving parts before and stayed calm. You spot problems before they become urgent. You are honest about capacity rather than saying yes to everything.
Competitive salary, flexible working, and a great team culture.
Salary: £[X]–£[X]. You will be the first operations hire — which means real ownership from day one, not inherited processes you had no say in.
